What is Mesothelioma and How do you Get it?



Mesothelioma is a unusual type of cancer that may take up to 20 years to extend .There are three(3) recognized forms of mesothelioma wherein doctors can diagnose patients for example Peritoneal, Pleural and Pericardial Mesothelioma

The National Cancer Institute Describe that: A "Malignant mesothelioma, is a rare type of cancer. It is a disease wherein cancer (e.g. Malignant) cells can be found in the sac lining the chest (the pleura) or the abdomen (the peritoneum). The majority people with this malignant mesothelioma have worked on jobs where they breathed asbestos. Others have been caused to undergo asbestos in household atmosphere, often exclusive of knowing it.

What is Mesothelioma?

Mesothelioma is a unusual type of cancer that may take up to 20 years to extend. At present there are three(3) recognized forms of mesothelioma wherein doctors can diagnose patients and these are,

  1. Peritoneal Mesothelioma
  2. Pleural Mesothelioma and 
  3. Pericardial Mesothelioma. 


Each of these forms of cancer generally influences the cell linings of the lungs, and/or the heart and the abdominal cavity. This type of disease often, unluckily, leads to death.

Men who drank 1-3 cups of coffee daily still had lower rates of prostate issues compared to men who did not drink any at all.
